Spontaneous metastasis denotes lung metastases obtained from seeding by primary tumors derived from subcutaneous explantation of tumor cells. The number and size of macrometastases was not statistically different (p ≥ 0.05) between the cell lines as determined by the Mann-Whitney rank sum test. The apparent difference between H118F and wild-type NM23-H1 nearly achieved statistical significance (p ≥ 0.07).

a,b

Means not showing a common superscript are significantly different (p ≤ 0.01) as determined by Fisher’s exact test.
