Te(IV) toxicity is partially mediated via general metal toxicity routes. Hierarchical clustering (average-linkage clustering based on Pearson correlation coefficients) of gene knockout mutants with reduced Te(IV) tolerance (reduced colony size) and reduced tolerance to cadmium and/or arsenite. Colors indicate degrees of tolerance in relation to that of the WT; for cadmium and arsenite, an arbitrary intermediate value was used, as the data were qualitative.
