(A) Human 293 cells stably expressing human BST-2 (FLP-BST-2), CAT (FLP-CAT), or an empty plasmid (pCDNA5/FRT, FLP) were transfected with plasmids encoding HA-tagged matrix proteins of LASV, MACV, ZEBOV, MARV, or NiV. Cell lysates and supernatants were treated as in Fig. 1, and HA-tagged matrix proteins in VLPs were analyzed by Western blotting.
