A, HEL cells were treated with either 0.25% DMSO or with 25 μm of G6 or its derivatives for 0, 24, 48, or 72 h. The number of viable cells in each sample was measured by trypan blue exclusion. Each sample was measured in triplicate. p = 1.22 × 10⁻¹⁰ (D23 versus G6). B and C, HEL cells were treated for 72 h either with DMSO or with 0.01, 0.03, 0.1, 0.3, 1, 3, 10, and 30 μm of the indicated compounds. The viable cell numbers for each treatment were determined in triplicate. Shown is one of two sets of representative results. D, HEL cells were treated with 25 μm of the different drugs for 48 h.
