Inhibition of phosphorylation of STAT3 and STAT5 by G6 and its derivatives. HEL cells were treated with 25 μm of the different drugs for 48 h. The cells were then analyzed for the detection of phospho-STAT3 and phospho-STAT5 by both ELISA (A and C) and Western blot analysis (B and D). Stilbenoid-containing compounds (G6, D28, and D30) effectively inhibited phosphorylation of STAT3 (A and B), and phosphorylation of STAT5b (C and D).
