The user interface shows title, author, reference, abstract, and thumbnails of all figures. When the figure is shown first, the most important figure (“Fig. 3” in this example) is enlarged and highlighted, along with its figure legend and text summary. The corresponding sentences in the abstract are also highlighted. When a user moves the mouse over any figure thumbnail, or any sentence, the corresponding figure is dynamically enlarged, replacing the previous one, and its figure legend and summary are dynamically generated.
