The top row shows the crude mixture of products after 24 hours at 25 °C for no enzyme, Vca0956 (~1 μM), or Lpg1057 (~ 1 μM) incubated with 500 μM GTP and 10 μCi GTPα32P. Arrows indicate the c-di-GMP spot. The bottom row shows the same reactions after treatment with CIP (Calf intestine alkaline phosphatase). c-di-GMP is resistant to CIP treatment and remains, while other nucleotides are degraded.
