TLC of XAD-16 eluate. XAD-16 eluate was spotted onto an Alugram SIL G/UV254 0.2-mm-thick silica 60 aluminum-backed TLC plate with built-in UV254 indicator dye in 10-μl (lane 1) or 5-μl (lane 2) increments. TLC was conducted using a isopropanol-methanol-glacial acetic acid-water (7.5:1:1:0.5) mobile phase. The solvent front distance from the origin is indicated by I, and the distance the spot traveled is indicated by II. Panels 1 and 2 are the same TLC plate visualized under white light and UV light, respectively.
