The proportion (percentage) of neurons with phasic responses to at least one of the following events is displayed for each region: cue onset, instrumental response, food delivery, and food consumption. Neurons without any phasic response were classified as task non-encoders. Note that some units showed phasic responses to more than one event, and, therefore, the proportion of task non-encoder neurons is higher than the sum of various task encoder neurons. Data are presented as proportion (percentage) of each type of response in each session.
