Increase in urinary sodium excretion (UNaV) from the left kidney in virgin and pregnant rats after spermine NONOate and/or sildenafil (SILD) infusion. NONOate infusion increased UNaV in virgin but not pregnant rats. The natriuretic response was restored in the pregnant kidney by sildenafil.
