Curcumin significantly reduced β-catenin in the cytosol and nuclear fraction without having any effect on the mRNA. Enalapril had no effect on β-catenin. The nuclear fraction was devoid of GAPDH signal, suggesting that the nuclear extracts were free from cytosolic contamination.
