Ablation craters on the surface of a thin Staphylococcus epidermidis biofilm (25μm thick) grown on ITO-coated glass slide imaged by CCD camera. Laser spot diameter was set to be 200μm. Fluences in the range between 4.4J/cm2 (craters toward top left) and 0.64J/cm2 (craters toward bottom right) were applied.
