Luciferase activity of PNA705 conjugates of RXR6, RXR8, RXR8−4B1, or RXR8−2B using endocytosis inhibitors. Cells were preincubated at 37 °C for 20 min with chlorpromazine (30 μM), methyl-β-cyclodextrin (MBCD) (2.5 mM), nystatin (50 μM), or ammonium chloride (50 mM). Cells were further incubated in the same conditions with the peptide conjugates at 1 μM for 30 min. Luciferase expression assays were carried out after 24 h as indicated in the Experimental Procedures. Experiments were made in triplicate, and error bars are indicated. Data are expressed as the percentage of luciferase activity.
