Deoxyhemoglobin (a) and oxyhemoglobin (b) levels in the CNS region as measured by CWNIRS. Representative animals are shown. The change in oxyhemoglobin and deoxyhemoglobin are normalized to the 0.1 and -0.1 with the values at the time point of CN infusion cessation, respectively, to be easy to compare the recovery rate between control and cobinamide sulfite-treated animals. As shown, the return of oxy- and deoxyhemoglobin levels to baseline is dramatically improved after cobinamide sulfite injection, which is similar to findings using DOS in Fig. 2.
