The viability of JC cells treated with increasing concentrations of 15d-PGJ2 (0.01-3 μM) for 16 h was assessed using PI and Annexin V flow cytometry (A). Cells which stained negative for both PI and Annexin V were scored as viable. Colony formation was also assessed after exposure to 15d-PGJ2 and quantified (B). Ethanol was used as a vehicle control. Values shown represent means ± SEM, n = 3-9. ** p < 0.01 compared to vehicle control.
