Levels of VEGF in T1DM patients. DM with HT with MA/DR—diabetes mellitus with HT and MA and/or DR. DM without HT and MA/DR—diabetes mellitus without HT and MA and/or DR. DM without HT and with MA/DR—diabetes mellitus without HT and with MA and/or DR. The figure represents significantly higher level of VEGF patients with T1DM and HT and with MA/DR vs T1DM patients without HT and MA/DR (*P=0.035) and significantly higher level compared with diabetes mellitus (DM) group without HT and with MA/DR (**P=0.036) as well as with the healthy subjects (***P=0.00000). Moreover, it represents significantly (§P=0.001) lower level of VEGF in DM group without HT and MA/DR vs DM without HT and with MA/DR, as well as lack of significance (P=0.19) in comparison with the healthy group.
