(C) Analyzing the localization of RFP-tagged alleles to the spindle pole bodies in meiosis II cells. Five of the six mpc54-RFP mutant alleles were stable and localized appropriately. The number of visible spindle pole bodies differs in the images shown due to the random distribution of the four spindle pole bodies between the chosen focal planes.
