VIKI -PEG₄-chol peptide injections were given to groups of 5 hamsters at 1 or 2 days before infection, concurrently with live NiV infection (day 0), and at 1, 2 or 4 days after infection. Injections were then repeated every day for up to 14 days post infection. Control animals were injected with vehicle alone.
