Pulmonary bacterial loads in RC mice intravenously infected with BCG Russia (A, B) or BCG Pasteur (C, D) were determined at 1 week (A, C) and 6 weeks (B, D) post-infection. RC mice were stratified by genotype (AA in black or BB in blue) at each microsatellite marker and the mean log10CFU (solid line) and confidence bounds (hatched area) were determined for the two groups of mice. A divergence in the mean CFU of the AA and BB genotype groups represent chromosomal regions where the two groups differed. Chromosomal positions are given in centimorgans (cM).
