Pulmonary bacterial loads in RC mice intravenously infected with BCG Russia (A, B) or BCG Pasteur (C, D) were determined at 1 week (A, C) and 6 weeks (B, D) post-infection. RC mice were stratified by genotype (AA in black or BB in blue) at each microsatellite marker and the mean log₁₀CFU (solid line) and confidence bounds (hatched area) were determined for the two groups of mice. A divergence in the mean CFU of the AA and BB genotype groups represent chromosomal regions where the two groups differed. Chromosomal positions are given in centimorgans (cM).
