CpG ODN inhibits apoptosis of macrophages induced by serum deprivation. Raw264.7 cells were cultured, changed into serum-free medium, and incubated with serum, medium (-), or 3 µM CpG ODN (CpG). Cells were stained with annexin-V FITC and analyzed for the induction of apoptosis by flow cytometry. Each data point represents the mean ± S.D. of five independent experiments (*, P < 0.05).
