Specificity of interaction of PNATAR-TPP conjugate 2 with its target sequence on HIV-1 TAR. The 32P-labeled TAR DNA (50 nM) was incubated with the PNATAR-TPP conjugate at different molar ratio of the conjugate followed by gel electrophoresis as described in the Materials and Methods. Lanes 1 is the control without conjugate. Lanes 2 through 6 represent 0. 25, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, and 4.0 molar ratio of conjugate to TAR DNA.
