Relation of aspirin dose and C-reactive protein (CRP) concentration during hospitalization for an acute coronary syndrome and 3 months later. Patients prescribed low-dose aspirin (81 mg) had higher overall CRP concentrations at 3 months as compared to patients prescribed high-dose aspirin (162 mg or 325 mg).
