Within-subject comparisons for a clinical case showing subthreshold introjection (graph a) and strong identification with father (graphs b and c). The introjective profile comparison (a) would not qualify as CP in the present study, even though there is some overall resemblance (i.e., low friendliness and high hostility). Evidence of identification with father (b: focus on other behavior; c: focus on self) qualifies as CP in this case even by the most conservative standard set for this study (r > .90).
