Abbreviations: BB-DP, bio-breeding diabetes-prone; BB-DR, bio-breeding diabetes-resistant.

The percent of total reads is shown for each genus. Those percent of read numbers in bold indicate the genotype (BB-DP or BB-DR), which is higher for that genus. Here a 16S rRNA sequence is considered to be derived from a known genus if it is at a similarity level of 95% or above to its closest cultured relative.
