WT and PAFR KO mice were infected intranasally with 106 PFU (n = 5–9) or PBS (Mock, n = 4) and killed 5 days post infection. Pulmonary concentrations of IL-6 (A), CXCL1/KC (B), IL-1β (C), IL-12 p40 (D), IFN-γ (E) and CCL5/RANTES (F) were measured by ELISA in lung homogenates. Data are presented as Mean ± SEM. *, ** and *** for p<0.05, p<0.01 and p<0.001, respectively, compared to Mock groups; # for p<0.05, ## for p<0.01 and ### for p<0.001 when compared to WT infected group (one-way ANOVA, Newman-Keuls).
