Nuclear import assay for NLS-GFP. Nuclear import assay was performed as described in Materials and Methods. NLS-GFP protein was mixed with RanGDP, importin α7 (Imp α7), importin β1, and incubated with permeabilized HeLa cells. Import assays were also performed by adding equal amount of ARHI or NTD proteins.
