Images of 15–20 randomly chosen NHDF cells were captured using a Zeiss epifluorescence microscope equipped with a charged coupled device camera and the relative fluorescence intensity of PCNA in control and γ-ray treated cells was measured using Adobe Photoshop and expressed in arbitrary units as mean ± SE.
