Decay of the ER form of Crh2-HA is delayed in ire1Δ and bst1Δ mutants. (A) The indicated strains were grown to logarithmic phase and treated with 50 μg/ml cycloheximide, and 10 OD600 cell equivalents were harvested and frozen at the indicated time points. Extracts of each sample were analyzed by Western blotting. (B) Western blots generated from three independent cycloheximide chase experiments for each strain were analyzed by densitometry to determine the amount of ER Crh2-HA remaining at each time point.
