Gb3 can be detected in HCT-8 cells. (A) Folch's extraction-enriched HCT-8 cellular extracts were separated by HPLC, and fractions were further separated by thin-layer chromatography with purified glycosphingolipid standards run in parallel to identify Gb3 and Gb4 species.
