BLAST search results from a chimerical sequence (100 bp of the 16S from Lactobacillus rhamnosus and 217 bp of the ITS from Lactobacillus zeae) using (A) the EMBL/GenBank/DDBJ database (the first 10 best matches) and (B) the RISSC database (all nine best matches). BLAST search in RISSC is unaffected by the presence of a 16S gene.
