Peak titers shed by 7:1 reassortants in quail and chickens. Swabs collected on days 1, 3, and 5 p.i. from infected quail and chickens during replication and transmission studies were titrated in embryonated chicken eggs in order to determine the day of peak viral shedding. Results for 7:1 reassortants in the mall/178 (A) and qa-mall/178 (B) backbones are shown.
