Shaded bars indicate the proportion of cases where PH < 0.025 (i.e. allele distributions more even than expected under neutrality) and PH > 0.975 (allele distributions more skewed than expected under neutrality). Populations of host coevolves either with 25 (A, B), or 50 (C, D) pathogen species. The samples where taken from each simulated population every 50 generations through 800 host generations, replicated 80 (A, C) or 40 (B, D) times.
