Effect of the parasympathetic denervation (vagotomy plus pelvic nerve (PN) transection) on colonic transit. The geometric center (GC), measured with the distribution of 51Cr, significantly decreased at POD 1 and POD 3, compared to sham group. The delayed colonic transit was restored at POD 7 (Two-way ANOVA, n=6-8, * p<0.05).
