Position of 2A and sequences immediately upstream in the ribosome:translocon complex. In the case of polyproteins bearing an N-terminal signal sequence, the 2A oligopeptide (white ovals) and the sequences immediately upstream (grey ovals) are predicted to be located within the ribosome exit tunnel and translocon pore, respectively.
