Full-length RrgA clades I and II bind extracellular matrix components in vitro. Different doses of recombinant RrgA clades I and II, along with RrgA Asp444Ala, were incubated with purified fibronectin (top), laminin (middle), and collagen I (bottom); the pilus backbone, RrgB, was used as a negative control.
