(A–C) Immunofluorescence microscopy was performed on Cos7 cells with antibodies detecting endogenous p220^NPAT (A), or CDK2 dependent phosphorylation at two distinct epitopes [i.e., T1270 (B) or T1350 (C)] in cells transfected with wild type human p57^KIP2, p27^KIP1 or p21^CIP1/WAF1 (right columns) or untransfected cells (left columns). Immunofluorescence signals (green) for total p220^NPAT, or the T1270 and T1350 phospho-epitopes are merged with DAPI signals (blue). The insets show merged image of cells transfected with wild type p57^KIP2, p27KIP1 or p21^CIP1/WAF1 (red; combined with DAPI to yield purple). The percentages on each panel indicate the number of positive or negative cells.
