EI/f cell in which ipsilateral tones evoked only EPSPs and facilitation was apparently produced by a summation of excitations evoked by ipsilateral and contralateral tones. Higher ipsilateral intensities evoked progressively larger EPSPs but suppressed discharges when presented binaurally. A–E are the same as in Figure 5.
