Black squares indicate that a host plant (top) is used by a particular Neodiprion species; white squares indicate that a host is not used. Host plant genera are abbreviated as follows: P. = Pinus; L. = Larix; T. = Thuja. While Neodiprion are generally restricted to hosts in the genus Pinus, N. lecontei has been recorded on non-Pinus hosts during population outbreaks.
