Slight trauma
Falling to the ground from < 0.5 m (standing height)
Falling to a resilient surface (rubber or sand) from 0.5-3 m
Falling from a bed or cot
Playing injuries, including playground scuffles
Low-energy sporting injuries, such as ball sports, judo, karate, wrestling, and gymnastics
Moderate trauma
Falling to concrete or other non-resilient surface from 0.5-3 m
Falling from a bunkbed
Baby being dropped to the floor by an adult
Falling downstairs
Falling from a bicycle
Falls while moving on skateboards, skis, rollerblades, or skates

Severe trauma
Falling from a height exceeding 3 m
All traffic accidents not already mentioned
Being hit by a moving heavy object
