Time course of attachment of dansyl bisphosphonic acid bound to the surface of Ti6Al4V foils at different time points. The passivated foils were incubated with dansyl bisphosphonic acid (pH 7.4, 2.5 mg/mL) at room temperature. The foils were removed from the solution at a series of time points, washed with Me₂NCHO and water, followed by incubating with 1 mL 0.01 M NaOH at room temperature for 3 hr. The fluorescence in the NaOH solution was recorded with λ_ex 337 nm and λ_em 520 nm (30).
