U937 cells underwent a freezing - thawing cycle as described in Materials and Methods. The percentage of dead (PI positive) cells was tested at appropriate time points after thawing. The corresponding temperature end points are presented. Values are average ± SD of 2-3 experiments (500-1000 individual cells).
