The differences between 2a and 2x and between 2x and 2b fibers in both normal and cross-innervated muscles are statistically significant (**p<0.005, t-test), whereas 2a fibers in cross-innervated SH muscles are significantly larger than those of normal SH muscles (*p<0.05, t-test).
