Transformed wild-type M. truncatula plants overexpressing 3HA-PUB1 or GFP (control) were inoculated with wild-type S. meliloti. Two independent experiments were performed, and the means of the number of nodules formed at 7 and 14 DAI is shown as well as the standard deviations.
