Mean peak vertical forces as a percent of body weight (% BW) for contralateral and experimental legs for both the Sham and Loaded groups with the varus loading device (VLD) disengaged (no compressive overload applied) and engaged (compressive overload applied) (Mean +/− SEM). Statistical analyses found a significant effect of leg (p=0.02). There were no statistical differences between the Sham and Loaded groups nor between VLD disengaged or engaged.
