V-FFT time-frequency power spectra with h(t) = data (t) from channel 16 from the rat prior to kainic acid injection. Non-overlapping time windows of 0.67 sec were used, with a total time interval of 60 secs and frequency resolution of 1.49 Hz. In these graphs, each power spectrum is rescaled by subtracting out the mean and dividing by the standard deviation. The mean and standard deviation are calculated over all channels, FFT frequencies and time up to 60 secs. (a) Frequency range from 1.49 Hz to 120 Hz. (b) Frequency range from 100 Hz to 3000 Hz.
