Abbreviations: Co, controls; Ca, cases; OR, odds ratio; CI, confidence interval; IH, industrial hygienist.

1

We restricted our analyses to study participants administered a job module during interview (189 cases, 225 controls) and to subjects who were not administered a job module but were assessed by industrial hygienist as probably unexposed to organic solvents in the workplace (180 cases, 213 controls). The remaining study participants (952 cases, 619 controls) were excluded from our analyses due to uncertainty regarding their potential exposure to organic solvents in the workplace.

Odds ratios adjusted for age, sex, study center, ethnicity and education level.
