Connection probabilities were based on experimental values in Beierlein et al. (2003) and Gibson et al. (2005) (column 2). Column 4 shows the exact number of connections between the designated cell populations in the model, selected uniformly at random from all possible connections of that type. Column 5 shows the maximal conductance values for individual synapses between cells. The conductances were fixed for all connections between specified populations and equal for each targeted dendritic compartments.
