Transduction with HDAd or FGAd does not affect endothelial cell migration. EC were seeded in 24-well plates. After 24 hours, the cells were mock-transduced or incubated for 6 hours with one of the indicated vectors (1 × 1010 viral particles/ml). The EC monolayers were wounded with a pipette tip. The wounds were photographed immediately (time = 0) and again at 3, 6, and 9 hours and cell migration was calculated. Data are presented as mean ± SEM for n = 12–16 wells from four independent experiments. There were no significant differences between the mock-transduced cells and any of the other groups. EC, endothelial cells; FGAd, first-generation adenovirus; HDAd, helper-dependent adenovirus.
