Performance of the model: psychometric function. The plots show performance accuracy as a function of motion coherence for the model (left) and a monkey (data from Roitman and Shadlen, 2002). A sigmoid (cumulative Weibull) function was fit to the data in both cases and the psychophysical threshold (coherence achieving 82% accuracy) was calculated (dotted lines). (Note: only the reaction time, not the fixed duration version of the task, is considered in this article).
