(B) With a defined idiotype, Ab1 induces the production of an anti-idiotypic antibody Ab2. This Ab2 may resemble the original antigen as an internal image. (C) Ab2 can stimulate the synthesis of an anti(anti-idiotypic) antibody Ab3 which principally is of the same specificity as Ab1.
